Care and Maintenance

To ensure optimum durability of the furniture, following advice on the use, care and maintenance of furniture and various furniture materials must be followed.

Environment

Solidwood furniture, unless specifically recommended for outdoor use, is not recommended in direct sunlight, near to heat sources or in rooms with temperature swings. These result in stresses in the glued connections and in furniture plates which can result in splitting and cracks.

Cleaning

Top surfaces can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Solvents or chemicals should not be used.

Upholstery Fabric

Dirt and dust in the fabric increases break down the fibers and greatly shorten its life. Weekly cleaning with a soft brush inhibits degradation and increases longevity.
